Saturday morning check in

Hi Friends! It's already been a great Saturday morning. I stayed up until 2am talking to my older sister who lives thousands of miles away (actually I am the one who moved, so I live thousands from her...). I woke up early and stumbled to my crying baby who was ready to eat at 7:15 as always. I love those early morning snuggles! I've also done a little partying with the Ultimate Blog Party 2010 (getting to read loads of new blogs). I will give you a highlight of that later.  


For now, I am off to pick up our meat CSA order for the month. We have some good stuff coming including steaks for next weekend when my dad and step-mom visit. Also I am pretty sure the Farmer's Market opens in a week or two. I am so ready to get some truly fresh produce!


Finally I have some goodies coming your way this week! I will be posting "My Answer to Break and Bake Cookies" (hint: it involves whole wheat and chocolate). I'm also heading to a friend's house today to get to know more about her efforts to eat well, including grinding her own grains!
