Summer Reading

I have been doing a fair amount of reading recently and have tried to keep up with reviewing the books on my other blog.  My latest review of The Hundred-Foot Journey may be of special interest to you with it's culinary setting, but I also really enjoyed and recommend The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet and a few others.

What have you been reading lately?

Glad to see you back here! I need to be intentional about my summer reading and make a list. Often with the little bit of spare time I have I get so caught up in reading blogs through my feed reader, that I don't sit down long enough to take in an actual book. I love books though, they're important and I need to make the time!
Wow, that turned into rambling. ; ) Also on your previous post? Isn't it crazy that our girls are big enough now to assist in the kitchen?! Amazing and wonderful, but bittersweet!

I have been into a chick lit fix lately and I read voraciously so it's hard to pinpoint specific books. One that sticks out in my head though was The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue. A changeling takes the place of a real child in a home; it tells the story of how the child lives with the change.

Love the name of your blog! Nina Planck's "Real Food" is among my favorite food books. Recently I read "The Dirty Life". I think you'd love it!
